Picture Perfect - Movement

I only wish I'd had a camera in hand this morning, when I managed to collide at top speed with a door, and give myself a black eye. Not the greatest movement ever, but it sure would have fit the topic!
This was an interesting one. I had so many pictures in mind but none seemed quite right when I went to look. In the end I settled upon this one:

24 018

My son, Alex, having a wild time on the carousel. Personally, their faces always scare me a little. But I look at this and I can almost feel him whizzing round, laughing every time he went by me. Happy memories :)

Thanks Mitch...you know Alex, easily pleased!

mjrohn, thank you. It's not too much of a black eye, just one of those silly accidents that ALWAYS happen to me!

Thanks photographyku and naarta and paula...I honestly get creeped out by the horse faces!

That's a great shot, love that it's in black and white!
It is so wonderful that we can capture the moments that make our children so happy and we can look back on them through these photo's and remember and re-live them!
tallyknight wrote on Mar 6
Thanks Mags, I really agree, for me it's probably the best part of having a camera. I have more pics of Alex than anything else, from every age, every mood, every occasion...lucky to have those memories :)

Nice ... always like Merry Go Rounds ... and the sheen being shown by capturing it in black and white is great

Thanks very much :) I do love pictures in black and white, I probably use it on too many shots, but it worked with this one I think.

O I forget when was the last time I was on one of those!!! I should make time to go to the amusement park again. Your son made me do it... *chuckle* Look at the joyful expression - albeit a bit scared - on his face. Great movement picture you have here! Thanks so much for sharing and visiting mine!
tallyknight wrote on Mar 6
Thanks for that comment :) I am sure he would be thrilled to know he encouraged a "grown up" to go to an amusement park!

I like this especially because it's black and white and still shows that glimmer of silver color with the horse. Must have been chilly that day. But no amount of chill can take away the fun. Great take on the theme ... 8=)

Thanks for your comment and stopping by.
