Curves had me musing for a while. I took a look through the pictures I took in MADRID last week, lots of beautiful arches and curves in the architecture. The one that stood out most to me though was this one. Ancient sculpture does it for me, the inordinate care and skill that went into creating the curve of the chest, the curls of the beard and hair blows my mind, plenty of curves here!

Mitch...sadly, so few things from that era have remained intact, it's still so gorgeous though! All the artefacts in that particular exposition had been excavated from under the sea...amazing they kept so well!
